Dr. Ruby Ben resides in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  She has been married for over 22 years to her husband, Andra.  They have two children together, Aj and Jenny.  Two additional children from her husband’s previous relationships, Carnesha and Missy, who she loves dearly.  Dr. Ruby has been working in the nursing profession for almost 30 years.  She started her career as a bedside nurse and quickly advanced to a nurse manager.  Dr. Ruby went on to receive her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and now she is currently Director of Clinical Quality Informatics at a local hospital in North Little Rock.  In her current role, she works to assist with process improvement, quality, standardization, and serves as a mentor to other healthcare professionals. Dr. Ruby also offers her leadership skills in her community.  She is also well known in her childhood community of Cotton Plant, Arkansas, where she provides community service.
